2026 National Crime Victim Bar Association Annual Conference

The 2026 NCVBA Annual Conference will be held from September 9th-September 11th, 2026 in Chicago, IL. 

The National Crime Victim Bar Association (NCVBA) National Conference provides essential, cutting-edge information on current legal subjects, as well as offers important resources and litigation strategies that attorneys need to best represent crime victims. Held in conjunction with the National Training Institute of the National Center for Victims of Crime, this annual gathering brings together up to 1,000 victim advocates, civil attorneys, criminal justice professionals, and law enforcement officers to share their knowledge and experience across disciplines.

The 2026 NCVBA Conference will be taking place at the Hilton Chicago. The room rate is $219/night plus taxes and fees.

Registration Fees

Early bird registration will be available from March 2nd - April 30th. Standard registration will be available from May 1st - August 1st. Late registration will be available from August 10th through the conference end.

Who can attend the NCVBA Annual Conference?

Due to the occassionally sensitive matters discussed in the programming, the National Crime Victim Bar Association Annual Conference is only open to NCVBA members. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please email victimbar@victimsocrime.org.


Is there a virtual option available?

Virtual attendance will not be available for the 2026 conference. We understand this may cause some difficulties for individuals, but we hope you can join us in person!


What is the cancellation policy?

The National Crime Victim Bar Association does not provide refunds for cancelled registrations. If the registrant can no longer attend, we can transfer the registration to another participant. If you have any questions please email victimbar@victimsocrime.org.


Are there any discounts on registration available?

Yes! Conference registration discounts are available for NCVBA members and first time attendees. Please note that you must be a member in order to receive the first time attendee discount. To receive the discount code please email victimbar@victimsocrime.org.


Are Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits available?

Yes! NCVBA Conference registration includes CLE credits. When registering, please make sure to mark down all states that you would like to receive CLE credits. Attendees are responsible for filling out their own certificate of attendance at the end of the conference and returning it to NCVBA staff to submit if needed.
